Objectives

On completion of this module you will be able to:

• Identify what is the key role of a security staff member in NSW Health.
• Identify ways to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to manage security incidents.
• Identify ways to manage various situations including the role of de-escalation techniques.
• Recognise early identification strategies and management of potential issues.

Audience

This course is applicable for NSW Health Security Staff and may qualify for up to 0.5 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
