Welcome to Between the Flags - Deteriorating Patient Learning Pathway - Paediatric patients (Medical). This is a mandatory dependant on role.

This pathway outlines the training requirements for the Between the Flags education for medical staff that provide direct care to paediatric patients.

Objectives

It includes the following:

• Between the Flags - Tier 1: Awareness, Charts and Escalation (eLearning)
• Between the Flags - Tier 2: Communication, Teamwork and Documentation
• Between the Flags - Tier 2: Systematic Assessment (Paediatric)
• Between the Flags - Tier 2: Case Studies - Medical (Paediatric)
• Between the Flags - Tier 2: DETECT Junior workshop (Paediatric face-to-face education) Or
• Between the Flags - Tier 2: DETECT workshop (Mixed face-to-face education)

A certificate is issued on completion.

This learning path is designed for all NSW Health Clinical Staff.
