The HETI Medical Portfolio offers a vast range of resources and support to enable medical practitioners in training to fulfil their roles and responsibilities and to provide useful and relevant support for teachers and clinical supervisors. In particular, HETI helps manage medical students being allocated to internship positions, early career doctors in their prevocational years, doctors in vocational training, as well as those in non-vocational positions.
As an accredited intern training accreditation authority in NSW, HETI implements and monitors standards for prevocational trainees. HETI also provides other resources, support, and some post-fellowship training, all of which will be of interest to Directors of Prevocational Education and Training (DPETs), Supervisors, Directors of Medical Services (DMSs), prevocational accreditation bodies, and other key stakeholders.
