Foundations: Negotiation Skills
Welcome to the eLearning module Negotation Skills.
This module is part of the new graduate foundation program. The module seeks to support new practitioners develop their skills in negotiation, including identifying when a decision is not negotiable and the warning signs it is time to withdraw and reconsider your strategy.
A certificate is issued on completion.
On completion of this module, you will be able to:
- identify issues which are and are not negotiable
- apply appropriate negotiation strategies to a scenario to achieve a win:win outcome
- identify when to withdraw from a negotiation.
This course is applicable for new practitioners including new graduate medical, nursing and allied health staff and may qualify for up to 0.4 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
