Foundations: Mental Health Basics

Description

Welcome to the eLearning module Mental Health Basics.

The stigma associated with mental health issues and disorders is especially pervasive in the community.

Society often deals with such fear and distress by alienating and segregating those with a mental health disorder.

The impact of stigma, discrimination, and misunderstanding is often profound. It may become a part of the issue and affect the life of the individual. This creates a barrier to seeking care and support.

A certificate is issued on completion.
