Objectives
This module will help you to engage in consistent, high quality, and well-reasoned decision-making for your role in hearing member proceedings. More specifically you will learn how to:
- Follow a structured approach to support consistent, high quality and well-reasoned decision-making
- Identify and assess relevant information before making decisions
- Reach a decision and then determine action to take (e.g. conditions) if any, based on the information and level of risk
- Construct a well-reasoned and clearly articulated decision document
Audience
This module is applicable for all hearing members and council members and may qualify for up to 0.6 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
