Welcome to the Interpreting in family conferences module.

This is one of six video modules in the "How to use healthcare interpreters" series.   The focus of this module is how to use an interpreter during a family conference in a healthcare setting.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

By the end of the course, participants should be able to:

• Describes techniques to communicate effectively in family conferences with healthcare interpreters.

Audience

This module is applicable for all frontline NSW Health staff and may qualify for up to 0.2 hours of Continuous Professional Development.
