Welcome to the eLearning module Fraud and Corruption Prevention.
This program aims to help all staff to identify and prevent fraudulent and corrupt conduct in the workplace and to promote ethical behaviour and culture in NSW Health.
A certificate is issued on completion.
Objectives
After completing this course you will be able to:
- Define fraud, corrupt conduct and conflicts of interest and identify the impact of these behaviours on NSW Health.
- Identify the roles and responsibilities of staff, managers, executives, the internal audit units and the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) in preventing and responding to fraud and corrupt conduct.
- Describe strategies and processes which may be applied to prevent fraud and corrupt conduct.
- Use examples to illustrate and explain the different types of fraud and corruption.
Audience
This course is applicable for all NSW Health Staff and may qualify for up to 0.5 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
