Welcome to the eLearning module Polypharmacy in Older Inpatients.

The Polypharmacy in older inpatients module contains a short video. This video is designed to raise awareness of, and promote, the importance of reviewing polypharmacy in older inpatients.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

At the end of this module, you will be able to:

1. Identify the importance of reviewing polypharmacy in older inpatients;
2. Define your role, as part of the interdisciplinary team, in reviewing polypharmacy in older inpatients
3. List the tools that support assessment of polypharmacy and
4. Find available protocols and resources for deprescribing.​

Audience

The course is designed for Clinicians involved in care of older inpatients and may qualify for up to 0.2 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
