Welcome to the Face to face communication with interpreters module.

This is one of six video modules in the "How to use healthcare interpreters" series.   The focus of this module is how to use an interpreter to communicate in a face to face situatuion in a healthcare setting.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

By the end of the course, participants should be able to:

• Use an interpreter to communicate in a face to face situation in healthcare settings.
• Describe techniques to communicate effectively face to face with healthcare interpreters

Audience

This module is applicable for all frontline NSW Health staff and may qualify for up to 0.1 hours of Continuous Professional Development.
