Welcome to the Corporate Records Management eLearning module.

The availability of reliable and accurate information is a key factor in the delivery of high quality health services. The State Records Acts 1998 requires full and accurate records of the activities and decisions of NSW Health to be created, managed, retained and disposed of appropriately. This module guides all staff of NSW Health through their responsibilities for managing corporate records.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

By the end of this module the learner will be able to:

  • follow local guidelines and procedures to create accurate corporate records
  • manage corporate records within official recordkeeping or compliant business information systems
  • store, archive or dispose of corporate records to meet business needs and legislative requirements
  • protect and ensure the security of corporate records.

Audience

This module is suitable for all staff and may qualify for up to 0.25 Hours of Continuous Professional Development.
