Welcome to Pressure Injury Point Prevalence (PIPP) survey (Conducting).

This module provides an orientation to the process of  conducting a Pressure Injury Point Prevalence (PIPP) survey in order to facilitate uniform collection of high quality data on the survey day.

​A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

By the end of this module you should be able to:

  • Describe the steps in conducting a Pressure Injury Point Prevalence Survey.
  • Identify methods used in obtaining accurate and consistent data on the prevalence of pressure injuries.
  • Identify the importance of the survey team in contributing to future care directions.

Audience

This course is applicable for all NSW Health Clinical Staff and may qualify for up to 0.3 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
