Welcome to the Risk Management for Work Health and Safety module.

This module has been designed to help you understand the process of Risk Management, which is important as it keeps you and others safe in the workplace.

This course has been designed for Managers and Supervisors as they manage the day-to-day WHS management activities that ensure the Business Unit complies with its obligaitons as a Person Conducting Business or Undertaking (PCBU).

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

On completion of this module, paricipants will be able to:

• Identify when to apply a risk management approach
• Identify hazards and assess risks
• Develop and implement risk controls
• Document and review controls

Audience

This course is designed for managers and supervisors and may qualify for up to 0.4 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
