Welcome to the eLearning module Infection Prevention and Control Principles.

This module provides an introduction to infection prevention and control principles for non-clinical staff.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

On completion of this module, you will be able to break the chain of infection by:

• Knowing when and how to wash your hands
• Knowing when and how to apply standard precautions
• Referring to signs or following other requests when infection prevention and control precautions are needed.

Audience

This course is applicable for all non-clinical staff and may qualify for up to 0.4 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
