Welcome to the eLearning module The NSW Mental Health Act (2007) no 8 - Module 2.

A case-based Qstream course that covers main aspects of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007). This course provides real-life situations that require learners to apply NSW Mental Health Act (2007) in practice.

Objectives

After completing this course learners will:

• Be able to identify the objects, principles and sections of the Mental Health Act that inform and direct their work within mental health sector.
• Identify specific sections of the Act relevant to their workplace practice
• Make informed decisions, based on the guidance and legislative instruments of the Act.

Audience

This module is designed for all NSW mental health services. Qstream questions will be spaced over a period of 3-4 weeks.
