Welcome to the eLearning course My Food Choice Module 1: Welcome to My Food Choice.

This module is a pre-requisite for My Food Choice face to face training. It outlines the My Food Choice system and it's intended impact on staff and patients.

This module provides educators at a proficient level with the skills and knowledge necessary to engage and motivate the learner; and to understand the different learners.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

At the end of this module the learner will be able to:

• Explain the key aspects of your role in My Food Choice
• Explain how you will work in small teams to provide an improved food service to patients
• Explain how My Food Choice is focused on improving the patients’ meal experience so it becomes the highlight of their hospital stay.

Audience

This course is applicable for Food Service Staff and may qualify for up to 0.3 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
