Welcome to the eLearning module Promoting Attendance and Managing Leave.
NSW Health staff members has access to various types of leave. The entitlements vary, reflecting differing Award provisions. Managers are responsible to promote attendance and managing leave in the workplace.
A certificate is issued on completion.
After completion of the course you will be able to:
- Identify the role of the manager to support staff well-being;
- Make sound business decisions related to the active management of staff leave;
- Identify the actions to be taken in a range of leave scenarios to actively manage absence for the purposes of maximising staff well-being and minimising unplanned absence and its associated costs.
This course is applicable for all managers and may qualify for up to 0.5 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
