Welcome to the eLearning module Interprofessional Communication.

This module discusses the principles of effective communication to facilitate person centred care. It describes how ineffective communication is a barrier to best practice. This module forms part of The New Graduate Interprofessional Educational Framework.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

On completion of this module participants will be able to:

• describe how ineffective communication is a barrier to best practice.

Audience

This course is applicable for all NSW Health staff including doctors, nurses, midwives and allied health and may qualify for up to 0.4 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
