The Allied Health Unit at HETI provides a central source of leadership and coordination of education and training for the NSW Health allied health professional workforce. To ensure high-quality evidenced-based care, the Allied Health Unit works with key allied health stakeholders to develop education and training that is clinically meaningful, relevant and responsive to the allied health role and specialty.

There are many eLearning resources available in the state-wide My Health Learning portal including programs designed for Allied Health staff to support the delivery of high-quality, interprofessional, team-based, safe, person-centred care.

Behavioural insights and research inform the development of our courses and programs which take a range of contemporary educational approaches including face-to-face, train-the-trainer, online, app, video and gamification.
