Welcome to the video based course Clinical Handover. This video based course demonstrates effective clinical handover at three different stages:

• a) at admission,
• b) at bedside clinical handover, and
• c) at the point of transfer of care.

Please note that the quality of the video has been customised for higher download speeds.  A high resolution DVD version is also available in each LHD, or from District HETI.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

Completing this course should enhance clinician's ability to conduct an effective clinical handover.

Audience

This course is more relevant to clinical staff and may qualify for up to 0.5 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
