Emergency Department - Upper Limb Injuries

Welcome to the ED - Upper Limb Injuries learning module.

This course covers the identification of upper limb anatomy and the diagnosis of upper limb injuries. Case studies with Xray images are presented for you to recognise injuries and understand associated complications. A ten question quiz follows the learning module. The quiz is scored and answers are provided when you review the quiz. You can repeat this learning module as many times as you want.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

On completion of this module the learner will:

  • Revise clinically relevant anatomy of the upper limb
  • Become familiar with the correct description and complications of the injuries
  • Understand Emergency Department management of the injuries.

Audience

This module is aimed at PGY1 - PGY4 Emergency Department Doctors and may qualify for up to 1.5 hr Continuous Professional Development.
