Welcome to Patient Transport Services.

The aim of the training is to provide an awareness of the importance of preparing a patient for transport and the need capture sufficient/quality information to ensure PTS allocates the right resources to safely undertake the transport.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

Learn how important it is to:

• specify the patient condition and relevant patient transfer requirements in the booking
• specify property access difficulties in the booking
• update the booking when a patient’s condition or circumstances change.

Audience

This module is designed for Staff involved in booking PTS transfers for patients and may qualify for up to 0.3 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
