First Contact - Customer Service
Description
Welcome to the eLearning module First Contact - Customer Service.
This is a Customer Service Skills module that focusses on initial face-to-face interaction between a health care worker and a member of the community. The aim of this module is to develop your skills in using the first contact with a customer to create a caring, positive and efficient interaction.
A certificate is issued on completion.
Objectives
On completion of this program you will be able to:
- Acknowledge your customers politely and respectfully in a timely manner
- Interpret your customers' needs by actively listening and checking for understanding by asking questions
- Keep your customers informed of progress and developments
- Complete each customer interaction in a positive manner
Audience
This course is applicable for all NSW Health Staff and for Health professionals and may qualify for up to 0.3 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
