Objectives

The aim of this module is to explore principles that underpin fair, ethical and respectful processes that involve people. The activities in this module allow you to apply these principles across a range of different contexts.By completing this module, you will learn about:

• The impact of proceedings on people involved in the process
• How to apply the principles that underpin a protective jurisdiction
• How to apply the principles of procedural fairness across different context

The scenarios in this module focus on the following non-disciplinary proceeding:

• Performance Review Panel
• Immediate action (section 150) proceedings.

Audience

This module is applicable for all hearing members and council members and may qualify for up to 0.6 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
