Welcome to the eLearning module Employment: People with Disability.

This module will give you the opportunity to explore strategies that support an inclusive and equitable workplace. This module is underpinned by the NSW Health Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2016-2019.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

On completion of this module, you will be able to:

• apply inclusive employment strategies to provide equitable opportunities for people with disability during staff recruitment and employment
• recognise assumptions and bias impacting recruitment decisions
• identify benefits of an inclusive workforce and remove barriers for people with disability.

Audience

This module is applicable for all managerial staff involved in the recruitment process and staff involved in applying reasonable adjustment for people with disability. This may qualify for up to 0.5 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
