Welcome to the eLearning module Documentation and Activity Based Funding (ABF) for Clinicians.
The aim of this module is to help clinicians improve documentation to facilitate coding for ABF.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

By completing this module you will be able to:

• Briefly discuss the healthcare funding model used in NSW
• Describe how information in the medical record is used to drive Activity Based Funding in NSW
• Identify general guidelines for clinical documentation to facilitate coding and accurate casemix classification
• Appraise the quality of documentation for activity based funding

Audience

This course is applicable for all NSW Health Clinical Staff and may qualify for up to 0.5 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
