Welcome to the eLearning course My Food Choice Module 4: Taking Special Diet Meal Orders.

This module is a pre-requisite for My Food Choice face to face training. It displays how special diet orders can be taken and also shows how the entered diet code can exclude certain food items from being ordered.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

At the end of this module the learner will be able to:

• Complete an order for a patient that requires, or would prefer, a Prepared meal
• Complete an order for a patient that requires a texture modified meal
• Complete an order for a patient that is on the Clear Fluid or Full Fluid diet code.

Audience

This course is applicable for Food Service Staff and may qualify for up to 0.3 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
