Welcome to the eLearning module An Introduction to Mentoring.

This module provides an overview of the principles for successful mentoring from the perspectives of the mentor, the mentee and the organisation overall.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

After completing this module you will be able to:

• Have a basic understanding of mentoring practices and principles.
• Identify the benefits, attributes, and responsibilities of being a mentor.
• Identify the benefits, attributes and responsibilities of being a mentee.
• Determine the characteristics of successful mentoring relationships.

Audience

This course is applicable for all NSW Health Staff and for Health professionals and may qualify for up to 0.5 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
