JH&FMHN Code of Conduct
Welcome to the eLearning module JH&FMHN (Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network) Code of Conduct.
NSW Health has a Code of Conduct that applies to all staff. The Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JH&FMHN) provides health services to those in contact with the forensic mental health system and NSW criminal justice system. Given the complexities of this service delivery, JH&FMHN have a Code of Conduct that outlines additional provisions specifically related to the work environment, practice and context for JH&FMHN services. This module is designed to increase awareness and engagement with the specific JH&FMHN Code of Conduct.
A certificate is issued on completion.
At the end of this module, you will be able to:
- explain why there is a specific Code of Conduct for JH&FMHN staff;
- recognise that you have a different set of obligations and requirements;
- associate different and escalating consequences with breaches of these obligations; and
- identify where to go for support and assistance.
This module is is designed for all Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JH&FMHN) staff and may qualify for up to 0.5 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
