Welcome to the eLearning module - Safety and Quality - Advanced

This module is designed for board members, executive and senior management who have a particular role and responsibility under NSQHS Standard 1 to implement governance systems to set, monitor and improve the performance of the organisation and communicate the importance of the patient experience and quality management to all members of the workforce.

Note: This eLearning module is designed to complement other information and training relating to the broader safety and quality roles and responsibilities defined within the NSQHS Standards.

A certificate is issued on completion.

Objectives

Upon completion of this program, you will be able to:

• Explain your clinical governance roles and responsibilities within the organisation relevant to (Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC) Standard 1.4.
• Undertake actions to ensure the organisation complies with Standard 1.4
• Ensure orientation and training programs provide appropriate and effective education and training in safety and quality

Audience

This course is applicable for members of governing bodies and senior managers and may qualify for up to 0.5 hrs of Continuous Professional Development.
