Master of Clinical Medicine
(Leadership and Management)
Be a leading doctor in the hospital of the future
Whatever clinical role you fulfil, the skills you develop in the Master of Clinical Medicine will help you provide effective and coordinated safe patient care across specialist disciplines in the hospital of the future.
As the number of patients with multiple conditions increases, the health system needs more doctors with the clinical skills, organisational knowledge and capacity for inter-professional communication to manage patients at the ‘front-line’.
The Master of Clinical Medicine (Leadership and Management) – a joint innovation of NSW Health, the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) and the University of Newcastle – is an experiential learning program designed to develop hospital doctors to be clinical leaders. The course provides doctors with a broad perspective on patient care and hospital management.
For more information, go to the University of Newcastle's Master of Clinical Medicine (Leadership and Management) webpage.
Please note that applications for Semester 1 2016 close 8 February 2016.
NSW Health is proactively supporting the growth of a highly-skilled generalist medical workforce through its Senior Hospitalist initiative which responds to the changing profile and care needs of patients.
