Master of Clinical Medicine

(Leadership and Management)

Be a leading doctor in the hospital of the future

The Master of Clinical Medicine helps to support effective, coordinated safe patient care across specialist disciplines.

As the number of patients with multiple conditions increases, the health system needs doctors with the clinical skills, organisational knowledge and capacity for inter-professional communication to manage patients at the front line.

The Master of Clinical Medicine (Leadership and Management) – a joint innovation of NSW Health, the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) and the University of Newcastle – is an experiential learning program designed to develop hospital doctors to be clinical leaders. The course provides doctors with a broad perspective on patient care and hospital management.
