The Graduation Ceremony of the 2023 Rural Research Capacity Building Program (RRCBP) participants was held at Stamford Plaza, Sydney Airport on Wednesday 4 February 2026.

The ceremony featured presentations from the graduates as part of the ‘Emerging Researchers Showcase’ and announcement of award winners. View event program

Congratulations to all the 2023 graduates and award winners:

• Belinda Lincoln, recipient of the 2023 Best Research Report Award, for her RRCBP report, 'Pain Management for fractured neck of femur: retrospective comparative study of cognitively impaired and cognitively intact patients'.
• Jenae O'Sullivan, recipient of the 2023 High Commendation Report Award, for her RRCBP report, 'Characterising patients who did not wait (DNW) for treatment at a rural hospital emergency department – A retrospective cohort study'.
