The importance of clinical supervision is core and common to the 23 allied health professions within NSW Health. Clinical supervisors are a vital frontline resource and play a critical role in developing confident and capable allied health clinicians, promoting excellence in clinical practice, and ensuring patient safety and quality of care.
The Superguide is a user friendly handbook designed to assist allied health professionals who are responsible for supervising other staff. It gives tips and suggestions based on published evidence of what makes good supervision and the knowledge of many experienced allied health supervisors in NSW.

The Clinical Supervision for Allied Health Professionals face to face Training Program and the Allied Health Virtual Clinical Supervision Training Program deliver agile education to allied health supervisors across NSW Health.
Aimed at new and emerging allied health clinical supervisors or those who would like to refresh and update their skills, both of these training programs adopt a reflective practice model to enhance skills and knowledge in a virtual learning environment.
