Physiotherapy Virtual Cardiorespiratory ICU Training

Webcast recording is now LIVE!

Due to significant demand, HETI has made available online, the webcast recording and training resources for the 2-day Virtual Cardiorespiratory ICU (APA level 2) training course held on 28 & 29 March, 2020.

The virtual training was hosted by the Ministry of Health and HETI in partnership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association. The training supports physiotherapy staff to function effectively in health district ICUs with increasing cases of COVID-19. The training focuses on methods to wean patients off ventilators as a priority to save lives.

Interested Physiotherapists external to NSW Health including International Physiotherapists

For Physiotherapists external to NSW Health, the webcast recording and resources are available through HETI Moodle. HETI Moodle is free. Please see flyer and information on creating an account on the NSW Health - HETI Moodle.  A certificate can be downloaded following completion.
