NSW Health Aboriginal Allied Health Cadetships

Program Overview

The NSW Aboriginal Allied Health Cadetship program provides an opportunity for Aboriginal students undertaking full time study in an undergraduate allied health course to apply for a Cadetship. The program offers cadets an income and employment in a NSW Public Health Facility while studying.

The overall aims of the program are to:

  • Increase the number of Aboriginal people working in the Allied Health professions across the NSW Public Health Sector.
  • Provide an opportunity for Local Health Districts and Specialty Health Networks to assist in improving Aboriginal health through education and employment.
