Nambi Managers Forum
Nambi Managers Forum
Managers play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive workplace by recognising and valuing the unique strengths of Aboriginal ways of knowing, being, and doing. By actively supporting cultural practices and integrating traditional knowledge into decision-making processes, managers can create a more respectful and collaborative environment.
The Nambi Managers Forum provides the opportunity for AMIHS/BSF managers/coordinators to come together in a collaborative and reciprocal learning environment to extend their skills and knowledge in leadership, management, learning and development.
The Forum is named, “Nambi”, an Aboriginal word meaning ‘a clever place or learning place’ in Worimi language that was gifted by the Worimi Peoples of NSW. This reflects the significant role of the TSU in providing education and training to managers/coordinators of AMIHS/BSF services across NSW in which over 55 Aboriginal language groups belong.
