The 4th Rural Generalist Engagement and Networking (RGEN) Conference was held on Friday 15 – Saturday 16 May 2026 in Wagga Wagga, NSW with the overarching theme ‘Celebrating the Rural Generalist - Leading from Every Level’.

The event brings together Rural Generalist trainees (Foundations, Advanced Skills Training, transition and beyond), early career doctors, medical students, rural health experts and educators - providing a great opportunity to connect, network, exchange ideas and establish lasting collaboration.
