Approximately 5-10% of all cancers are thought to have a genetic basis. diagnosed with cancer and guide the management of future cancer risk. Genetic diagnosis of relatives also provides an opportunity for risk reduction and early diagnosis.
Medicare-funded genomic tests are now available for mainstreaming.
