Positive Cardiometabolic Health
The teaching and learning resources were developed by Dr Jackie Curtis (Psychiatrist), Professor Katherine Samaras (Endocrinologist) and Dr Hannah Newall (trainee) using a grant from the HETI Psychiatry Education Support Fund. "Positive Cardiometabolic Health" provides trainees and clinicians an opportunity to increase knowledge and skills in the assessment and management of cardiometabolic syndrome and related physical health issues in patients experiencing severe mental illness. Included is a practical algorithm for screening and intervention.
The 2011 resource is an algorithm for Positive Cardiometabolic Health and the 2014 resource is an Adolescent Version Positive Cardiometabolic Health.
