Call for Abstracts - 2019 NSW Prevocational Conference

HETI invites all who have been involved in prevocational training to submit abstracts to our two day conference in June.

HETI invites all who have been involved in prevocational training, from Junior Medical Officers (JMO) through to JMO Managers and Directors of Prevocational Training, to come together and share their achievements and experiences at the two-day prevocational conference.

Call for abstracts now open

The 2019 NSW Prevocational Conference will explore the topic “From Surviving to Thriving”.

The organising committee welcomes proposals for short (5 or 10 minute) presentations. Two concurrent sessions will be held on the morning of Friday 7 June 9.45 to 12.30. The streams are JMO Education and Innovation and JMO Quality and Safety.

The major topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Teaching in the clinical environment
  • Quality and safety initiatives
  • Wellbeing – of individuals and the health system
  • Clinical supervision
  • Managing trainees in difficulty
  • Innovative ideas being implemented locally
  • Local innovations

Submission of abstracts

Please send all abstracts by email to Alix Brown by COB Friday 10 May 2019.

Notification of outcome

Abstracts will be considered by a review committee and you will be advised of the outcome on your submission by 17 May 2019.
