Leadership in healthcare is a shared responsibility that influences research, evaluation, education and clinical practice. This webinar explores the difference between being a leader and practising leadership, emphasising that leadership is an ongoing journey shaped by continuous learning, evidence-based practice and action.

Drawing on frameworks such as CanMEDS, servant leadership and various leadership styles, the session highlights how self-awareness, team dynamics and organisational stewardship drive meaningful change and impact. It also examines how personal leadership can evolve into transformational and strategic leadership, enabling responsiveness and adaptability within an ever-changing healthcare system informed by research and evaluation.
