Domain 1: Achieving Outcomes

This domain requires individual and collective commitment to the strategic priorities and plans of organisations. It is also about the ability to go beyond to ensure that the outcomes are centred on results as experienced by patients, families and the community regarding health and wellness.

This requires measurement of the effectiveness of programs aimed at generating those outcomes - ie are they accomplishing what they were designed to and demonstrate efficient stewardship of resources. Achieving outcomes requires the measurement of progress, making decisions to improve, and taking actions to achieve that improvement.
