Course Overview
The Theranostics workshop provides an introduction to scientific basis of nuclear medicine imaging quantification and Molecular Radiation Therapy. The workshop is suitable for Medical Physicists, Radiopharmaceutical Scientists, Medical Radiation
Scientists and Medical Officers.
Lectures will cover the following topics:
- Radiopharmaceutical development
- Radiopharmaceutical production
- Image acquisition
- Image quantification
- Dosimetry and verification
- Radiation Protection
- Clinical applications
International experts will present on:
- Physics for Theranostics (Dr Alan Green)
- Clinical Application of Theranostics and
- Clinical trials (A/Prof Roslyn Francis)
