Unacceptable Behaviour in Medicine
The video clearly explains the standards of behaviour expected of all NSW Health staff.
NSW Health is committed to providing a safe and equitable workplace for all staff. As part of this commitment, unacceptable workplace behaviours will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The purpose of the Unacceptable Behaviour in Medicine video is to prevent unacceptable workplace behaviour.
The video provides information about what types of behaviours do, and do not, constitute unacceptable workplace behaviour, accessible to all staff, with a particular emphasis on how any high risk areas identified through a risk assessment process.
The video highlights appropriate and inappropriate behaviour in the unique training environment of medicine, how to provide constructive feedback and how to minimise the risk of unacceptable behaviour.
The video also provides points of contact for reporting and managing unacceptable behaviour.
