The ‘San’ is Sydney’s largest private and largest ‘not-for-profit’ hospital, and is part of the Northern Sydney training network for Emergency Medicine. Situated on Sydney’s leafy north shore, it is a world class 550 bed facility with a 24 hour cardiac catheter lab, ICU and broad range of clinical specialities. The San is a teaching hospital associated with the University of Sydney.
Sydney Adventist Hospital is accredited with ACEM for the paediatric log book and for the following terms:
- 6 months ED
- 6 months ultrasound special skills
- 6 months anaesthetics (core critical care)
- 6 months ICU (core critical care)
- 6 months general medicine
