  • 4 hours/week paid, protected teaching time and separate dedicated Primary & Fellowship tutorial programs with ACEM examiners.
    FACEM cover 0800-midnight 7 days/week on-site and on-call otherwise.

For an ED Registrar, this is one of the places that has it all: a busy ED with major trauma and paediatrics in a friendly atmosphere with great teaching and fabulous staff. Most of our registrars stay at RNSH for the duration of their training - going away for specific rotations from time to time- but always returning “home”. The case-mix is fabulous – major trauma, complex medical patients and kids - and the staffing is good. Our success in both Primary and Fellowship exams is outstanding and there is dedicated research/4.10 assistance and an active ultrasound program. RNSH is just north of the Harbour Bridge and has good transport links…so your after-hours lifestyle is looking good!
