Why Lismore?

They call it the rainbow region. A name which reflects the area’s magical richness, extraordinary cultural diversity and its residents’ penchant for natural living.

In this unspoiled, lush and laid-back pocket of far northern New South Wales is a city that boasts the culture and convenience of a major regional centre and all of the lifestyle advantages of an extraordinarily beautiful natural environment.

Lismore and the surrounding hills are alive with creativity, and there are, quite possibly, more actors, artisans, buskers, dancers, divas, filmmakers, musicians, painters, potters and performers, per capita, than anywhere else in the country.

Many of the region’s World Heritage listed rainforests and National Parks are within easy reach of Lismore.
