Why Mona Vale Emergency Department?

We see 33,000 patients per year with 30% admission rate; 30% Paediatric presentations; and have a 5 bed ICU.

Mona Vale ED is accredited for 6 months of advanced emergency medicine training, with opportunities for accredited non ED terms – and we form part of the Northern Sydney Emergency Training Network. We have weekly in-house training, and Trainees also have access to the comprehensive primary exam tutorials and fellowship teaching at the tertiary hospital in our network.
There are 12 FACEM’s (Full and part-time Staff Specialists and VMOs), all keen, highly experienced, friendly and helpful.
