Older People’s Mental Health Scholarships 2019-2020

The Mental Health Portfolio of the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) will offer a number of scholarships to NSW health professionals, managers and peer workers providing mental health services for Older People and their families/carers.

These scholarships have been funded by Mental Health Branch (MHB) NSW Ministry of Health.

Scholarships up to value of $6800.00 are available to enrol in units of the Graduate Certificate of Applied Mental Health Studies with specialisation in Older Persons’ lifespan. HETI’s Graduate Certificate Units are practically oriented, including opportunities to connect with other health professionals and participate in live streamed teaching sessions run by experts from the field.

NSW Health professionals, managers and peer workers providing mental health services for Older People and their families/carers are invited to apply for scholarships to enrol in units of the Applied Mental Health Studies (http://www.heti.edu.au/older-person) (AMHS) course at HETI.

These scholarships are administered and delivered by HETI and are funded by Mental Health Branch (MHB), NSW Ministry of Health.

The scholarships will only apply to applicants who are enrolled to study the Older Persons units offered by HETI Higher Education in Semester 2 in 2019 and Semester 1 in 2020
