How do I set up an account or register for the HETI Moodle site?
Steps and instructions
I am a first time user trying to register but it keeps telling me “Invalid login, please try again”.
Please make sure you have cookies enabled for your browser. If the problem persists this may mean that the username you are trying to register with is in use by another user or you have registered in the past and are using the wrong password. If you are sure you are a new user choose a different username. If you think you may have registered in the past, select the 'Yes, help me login" button on the login screen to receive a new password. However, this will not work if you have changed your email address since first registering. If you think this is possible email HETI-Support@health.nsw.gov.au with your full name and a description of the issue.
I am not employed by NSW Health. Can I still access HETI Moodle?
Currently HETI Moodle is for NSW Health employees only.
I keep getting the error message "This email address is already registered"
This means you already have an account and you are using a different username. You can retrieve your username by going back to the login page and selecting the “Forgotten your username or password?” link.
I do not have a payroll number and it is a compulsory field. How can I register?
If you are going to be employed by NSW Health, type “TBA”. Remember to update your payroll number once you receive one as this may be used for reporting against your mandatory training requirements.
I have forgotten my password, what should I do?
Click on the 'Yes, help me login" button on the login screen and enter either your username or email address. If you do not receive an email with your details you will need to email the Support Team directly at HETI-Support@health.nsw.gov.au.
"This email address is already registered”, keeps appearing when I login and fill in the profile details which I have completed before.
This is because you have entered the wrong username. The system recognises this as a new user and begins the registration process. You can get your username via email by going back to the login screen and selecting the "Forgotten your username or password" link.
When I log in I get the registration page and I have already filled this out?
This usually occurs because you have entered the wrong username. The system recognises this as a new user and begins the registration process. If you cannot remember your username, you can click on the 'Yes, help me login' button on the login page. If this does not help you will need to email HETI-Support@health.nsw.gov.au with your full name and details of the issue you are having.
I have tried everything and I still can't log in?
Make sure you are attempting to log in at http://nswhealth.moodle.com.au.
How do I access and complete the Between the Flags Tier 2: DETECT Adult eLearning course?
Steps and Instructions
When I print my certificate for the DETECT course it doesn’t print with the current date?
The DETECT certificate will always print with the date that you first completed your declaration. This is a known limitation of Moodle and HETI are working on a solution.
Even though I have completed a module I still get the message "You have SCORM packages that need attention". What does this mean?
This message comes standard with Moodle and does not really mean much to end users. Please disregard the message.
